Jessica Styler has studied and performed classical music for 15 years, with a major in voice performance in college. She first heard the Hang (pronounced 'hung') in 2005 and changed her life in order to take a trip to the PANArt Company in Berne, Switzerland, where the Hang is made. The HANG is the result of a marriage between art and science, for it births a new dimension of musical instrument creation, a vibrationally based instrument that can individually create an acoustic cathedral of sound. At the Hangbauhaus, Jessica participated in the inspired process of finding the Hang that resonated with her. She has been recording and performing since that day. Aside from singing opera and playing the Hang, Jessica also plays the Ukulele, Piano, Shruti Box and Crystal Bowls.

This is the story of nano osmon, a little dolphin.
Recording this album inspired me to an inner journey which is reflected in this little fairy tale. It is a representation of the first 5 Tracks on this CD. Enjoy!

Nano Osmon, a little dolphin went on a journey into the unknown.
At the beginning of his journey he encountered a gate.

(TRANSFORMATOR)
As he passed through that first gate things changed in his entire perception, he was filled with life energy, ready to face everything what shall come upon him. Everything was filled with sound. There was a deep vibrant "UUU" that turned all doubts about his journey into deep confidence that he was on the right track. He let himself carry by the pulsating rhythmic sound. Surrounded by radiant heat that filled up his body from the bottom to the top, he flew away. The force of the earth-element.
He became aware of the incredible potential inherent in him and with every movement he felt better, more comfortable and happier. He felt
the urge to express his pleasure and so he sang and danced his joy. As he slipped through the second gate, he wanted to create from out of his just gained wellbeing and wondered what he would love to do. He perceived that the "UUU" sound slowly turned into an "OOO", which awakened in him the certainty that everything he desires will become true. "What have i always dreamed of?" he asked himself.
Full of excitement and joy, he let himself be carried by the winds because he realized, that his deepest dreams can come true simply by recognizing what these dreams are.

(MODERATION)
Slowly and gently, he started recalling images from the heart, thoughts and feelings, his deepest dreams and hearts desire.
A warm force originating in his midsection, started to bubble in all directions and poured out of him. Nano Osmon remained calm and centered, not tumbling, in this power which seemed to enable him for everything.

(TRANSPARENCY)
As he passed through the third gate, the tone which seemed to accompany him constantly since the brginning of the journey, changed again and became a pure and clear "AAA". The fire, that has burned in him before seemed wiped out gently from pure water and he actually felt almost like he was back in his childhood, diving in his so familiar element, the ocean. He felt one with it. His heart started to laugh, more and more, until it opened up completely. Although he was back in his element and his friends, the humpback whales were calling him from a distance, he didnt identify himself with his dolphin body anymore. He felt as if he was part of a higher power. His body was now rather steer a vehicle to this force, no matter if he was still Nano Osmon, or not Nano Osmon anymore, because he simply WAS.
All over happily fulfilled and connected with ALL that IS and One with All.
As he once more heard the calls of the humpback whales he realized that something very strong was changing again. At that moment, he slipped through the fourth gate, where he was to meet his shadows.

(SHADOW)
He immediately felt heavy and dull and instead of the comfortable and delighting water there appeared a biting, burning and all destroying fire.
Breathing was difficult and it was hard to ever come forward. A croaking "EEE" pierced his ears and his head felt as if it would explode. The ease drained from his heart and an unbearable pain tormented his chest. "Where have I landed here?" he thought to himself, and as the pressure was getting even stronger he desperately cried out "I want to go back playing with my friends in the water!" Suddenly death appeared before him and asked: „and what would you do then with your friends? " As he was asked this question Nano Osmon recalled his childhood,
when he danced with his companions, bubbling spiral silver rings against water surface, sending sounds of gratitude to the ether where they merged with the sounds of his companions and created songs and symphonies. "I want to share with them the joy of living" he answered. „ Good, that you finally know this!“ replied the death while making a strange movement with his hand and Nano Osmon flew through the fifth gate.
